 
			Volunteers organized a campaign to collect waste and debris along the seashore opposite Qlayaat Airport in Akkar. The waste was removed with the support of the “Al-Amana Al-Arabiya” company, following an invitation by Swim Lebanon, and in collaboration with SKL INTERNATIONAL through members of the RESLOG LEBANON first responder team, Ruwwad Al-Tanmia Foundation, the Awareness and Relief Association, Qalbi Ma’ak Association, the Municipality of Tel Hayat, Mr. Mahmoud’s Purebred Arabian Horse Farm, and residents of the area.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness about cleanliness, the importance of protecting the natural environment, and supporting the health of the ecosystem.
Activist and spokesperson for Swim Lebanon, Lisa Soufiane, praised Akkar’s coastline and its “nature-loving and land-committed people,” thanking the associations and individuals who contributed to making this initiative possible.
For her part, Dr. Hanan Matar, president of Qalbi Ma’ak, thanked all those who participated in the campaign, stressing “the importance of such initiatives in preserving the beauty of the area and protecting it from disease outbreaks.”
This is a volunteer-led initiative to clean up the coastline near Qlayaat Airport in Akkar. It involved collecting and removing waste and marine debris to protect the environment and raise awareness about coastal preservation.
